The Sorcery Code

I was asked to review a book. It's called the Sorcery Code by Dima Zales  #SorceryCode

Here is what I have to say about it:
It's about a guy who accidentally creates a girl instead of a magical object. He has to decide if she is dangerous. At the same time, he has to deal with his ex. It was recommended to me because I like Harry Potter (magic) and Cinder (Dystopian).

Pros:
No swearing (maybe 1 or 2 in the whole book)
No details of the bedroom scenes
Very different story
Well written
4 different perspectives
set-up for the next book
violence was redeemed

Cons:
Definite innuendo
violence- kind of gory, lots of beheadings
the romance was bit cheesy

My official say- It was a good story to pass the time. It doesn't take a long time to read and it's easy to follow. I won't read it with my kids, because it was borderline PG-13 for me.
