Young Women Manual 3, lesson 16 (or 17)
I made this for a friend who is teaching this Sunday. She wanted something neat for her girls to hang on their walls or put in a frame. So I made this. I took the pic, too- makes me extra proud!! They are in 4x6 if you would like to print them as well. Please don't re-sell them, though. Thanks!

Whoo are You?
Go to Night Owl Crafting. Get your questions. Answer them. Link back. Comment on other people's posts.
Here are this week's questions!
1. Do you exercise regularly and what do you do?
No. I hate exercise. I wish that I liked it. I really do. But I don't. I also wish that I liked healthy food.
2. Do you have any weird sleeping habits?
Yes. I love sleep and I hate sleep. I dream TONS and wake up feeling the dream. If I was running and yelling in my dream, I wake up exhausted and have a sore throat. And I dream ALL night. I did just discover that if I can sleep in ACTUAL darkness (my daughter has a light on down the hall), I sleep better. Hubby bought me an eye mask for my birthday on Sunday. I slept SO well last night.
3. How often do you vacuum?
I only have one carpeted room, so not often.
4.Do you accessorize and if so what is your favorite thing to accessorize with?
Yes, yes, yes!! I sell lia sophia jewelry, so Momma's gotta have her bling. I also LOVE shoes, though
I can't afford them often. And I have a stellar orange purse!!
(I have the pieces that are not blurred, but I LOVE this page!! I want those hoops!!)
5. What is your favorite drink during the summertime?
It's a tie between regular 'ol water and lemonade. This pregnancy I have been wanting smoothies like nothing else!!

Here's a present
So, Sugardoodle posted a link today to This & That to these SUPER idea to have Bedtime Passes if your kids are the kind who are out of bed a million and a half times just because. Yeah, I've got 3 of those!! So, I took her idea, but added ONE thing. If they DON't use the passes, they can turn them in in the morning for 15 min of Wii time per pass. Hopefully this will help big time. Hope they help you as well. Let me know if you need them customized!

What? I'm doing a WHOO are you again?!?!
I know, it's been forever, right?
In case you've forgotten how it works, first you head over to Night Owl Crafting, copy the questions, paste them on your blog, answer them, then link YOUR post back up at N.O.C. Easy as pie!!
Here are this week's questions!
1. Have you ever attended a professional sports game?
2. Have you ever been to a concert and if so which one was your
ultimate favorite performance?
3. Have you ever been to Disneyland or Disney World?
4. What is your favorite theme park?
5. Do you have a favorite vacation spot?
And here are my answers:
1. Have you ever attended a professional sports game?
No. I had the opportunity to go to a Cardinals baseball game once, but I was young and stupid and didn't realize what I was saying no to, so I stayed home. That was a big year for the Cardinals, too!
In my defense, I went to EVERY home football game during in High School, except one where I was sick and one where it rained too hard.
2. Have you ever been to a concert and if so which one was your
ultimate favorite performance?
Yes!! I've been to a few different concerts. The first ones were small ones- Flying Blind (twice). Then we went and saw Rascal Flatts. It was when they were just starting- in Angel's Camp. We had signs. I had one that said, "Joe Don Rooney, you rock my world," During introductions, Joe Don was looking out at the crowd, squinted, pointed right at me and said, "NO, you rock MY world!!" Yeah, I was giddy. We even went and met them after. Lots of hugs and stuff. My friends got all the signatures and pictues. I don't even have a copy of a single one of them. But I'm pretty sure I got lice from them.....
I've also been to an Incubus concert. They put on a good show, but it was dampened by the fact that I really wanted the guy I went with to hold my hand and he didn't. Lame, I know.
I've also been to the Wiggles Concert with Vaughn. That was so much!
And then, my favorite, was the Lenka concert. We were SUPER duper close. Like THIS close:
3. Have you ever been to Disneyland or Disney World?
Disneyland, yes. A few times. The first time I don't remember much. Then we went with my nieces. I had just gotten my cast off after breaking my foot, so I was in a wheelchair. I felt bad that I had no visible owies, so I did exaggerate a little. I really couldn't walk around, I promise. But just so you know, if you're in a wheelchair, you go STRAIGHT to the front. No lines. At all. Just sayin.
I also went for "grad night." It wasn't the night of graduation, it was like a week before, but we and a few other schools in the area got to go to Disneyland California Adventures from 9PM-midnight, then we all went to Disneyland from midnight till 6AM. Boy do I have stories to tell!!!
4. What is your favorite theme park?
Great America!!! LOTS of fun times there. LOTS!!
5. Do you have a favorite vacation spot?
Monterey, California. And San Juan Bautista, which is on the way to Monterey. We went last year for my birthday. It was SO much fun!!
I would go back EVERY year if I could!!!!
Alright- don't forget to visit everyone who answered on N.O.C. and comment!!

HOORAY!!!!
I know, I haven't posted much of ANYthing lately. But right now I am so happy. I had to get a new power cord for my laptop. I had to wait 2 weeks to get my Amazon gift card from MyPoints (yay!) and the second I got it, I ordered. That was on Friday- maybe Thursday. I don't remember. But I ordered it and it came today!! I am very very happy!! Pics and all kinds of stuff to come soon. Esp now that I"m past the puking all the time stage of this pregnancy!
In the meantime, if you'd like to order from my lia sophia customer appreciation even happening tonight, but you don't live near me, feel free to order online www.liasophia.com/fishybling and put Robyn Fish as the hostess! the Desire to Craft vs the Desire to Sleep
So, I'm finally past the really sicky sick part of pregnancy and my brain wants to get up and do all the crafty things I have in my head to do..... but the body part of me protests and begs for resting, sleep, and TV. So, in hopes to inspire myself, here are some things I'd really like to do:
Mason Jar "sippy cups" found on Two Shades of Pink
Angry Birds Water Balloons, found on No Time for Flashcards (ok, so really I want to do 90% of the stuff on that site)
These paints look fun, too! They are found on "Mom's Crafty Space" and I love that her kid's name is Sawyer, since if this one is a boy, that will be his name as well!
I also need to get cracking on Halloween Costumes. Here is what I want for Juliana, found on Craftster:
And Xander wants to be Yoda. There is a tutorial on Craftzine on how to make a costume, but I"ll have to make it bigger (since he's SEVEN today!!!!)
No clue yet on how to make an R2D2 costume for Vaughnman, a Padme costume for me, and probably a Chewy one for the hubster.
Now, can I veg?

Fun weekend!!- part 3
After our fun Goblin Valley and Green Riverness, we decided to take the long way home and revisit Ephriam (where Roger and I met, fell in love, and lived for the first year of our marriage). We said goodbye to our other friends, passed Heather and Jordan (who didn't even notice us), and headed south. There will be writing after the first few pictures. Just FYI.
We had been in the car for HOURS, so we decided to stop at Manti and take a looksie at the temple grounds before the next 15 min to Ephraim. Ok, so really it was so I could get more shots to add to the prints I have available on CTR-Ring.com (though there's not a picture up, hmmmm).
Let me know what you think of the pics, k? So I know which ones to submit for sale and which ones to put on my etsy shop.
I only got a couple pictures of Ephraim because I was crying way, WAY too hard. I didn't think it would affect me the way it did when we pulled up in front of where the Happy House used to be and saw just field. I tried to describe to my kids that the Happy House was where Mommy and Daddy met (a long conversation of "hey".) It was where Mommy and Daddy got to know each other, played cards, Sardines, watched movies.... Where Mommy and Daddy had their first kiss. Where we almost broke up but decided instead to give it a REAL shot. Where we made friends that we knew would last a lifetime and a love for each other that would last for eternity.
To add to my memory pain, we drove by Fern Young Hall (where I lived). While we had lived in Ephraim, they converted that dorm into office buildings. The building was still there, but all windows were gone- they were doing SOMEthing....

Fun weekend!!- part 2
On day 2 of our camping trip, we went to Green River. Much fun. We rode with Heather and Jordan (check out their adoption blog here- they are seriously the cutest ever!!) Anyway, I know you'd rather just look at pictures, so here you go!
So, when we first got to Goblin Valley, Xander was over the moon excited because "THEY LOOK LIKE PIT DROIDS!!!!!!!" I wondered what a pit droid was, so I looked it up when I got home. Here you go.
Here are my kids:
This is Goblin Valley, or Pit Droid Valley, whichever you prefer.
I'm sorry. I just can't help myself.
Hey look, Jordan and Heather- who we hung out with the most while at GV
My cute little family
All of us (with sun in our eyes, can you tell?)
I <3 them!
Oh hey, Heather and Jordan again, before they went that way.
How did we find the rest of our group? Oh yeah, try to find Cole on high up places. It's failproof.
What can I say, she's adorable! And I <3 her haircut!
This is Todd's family.
And a lizard. I think Xander was secretly disappointed that we didn't see any scorpions. And I KNOW he was disappointed that he never caught a lizard.
Here's Cole almost dying (again)
Our personal journey home in the next post

Fun weekend!!- part 1
Last week we went camping with the Happy House crew. What's a happy house crew, you ask? The Happy House was a house in Ephraim that was old and crazy. A bunch of awesome boys lived there (I'm a little biased since Roger lived there). Unfortunately, the Happy House is gone now. It has been gone for a while now, but I didn't face the fact until Saturday when we drove by. ANYWAY- so a Happy House boy is one who lived there. The rest of us, you could call us groupies, but we prefer the term crew. :D Seriously, these boys were so cool that there were plenty of us who hung out there a ton, even if we didn't marry one of the residents. :D
We decided to camp in Green River- I had no idea HOW tiny and podunk Green River was until we tried to find swimsuits (Am I right, Heather?!). The KOA we stayed at was super nice (and had a yummy free breakfast).
Just because of this picture, I really, REALLY wish I was creative enough for some funny captions.
