Yeah, I jinxed it. I'm out of This Scrappers Got Talent. Oh well.

Here are some other challenges I've participated in this month.

At Stuff to Scrap, I've entered the Build A Kit  challenge using Scraps by Missy's portion:

I also used Missy's section of the Mega Collab Kit for that challenge:

I used Design By Snowlady's Pirate kit for her Use It All Up challenge, but I don't think I followed the rules:

I did the Scraplift A Designer challenge. Kind of bummed how it turned out. Hers was crazy cute and I just couldn't get it right. Mademoiselle {Marie H Designs}

The font challenge was a fun one. Template from the Bigger And Better set by DoubleTrouble Scraps. Kit is Warm Summer Day by Shabby Miss Jen

I love the Found On Pinterest Challenge! I used take Note by Wendy Tunison. 

For scraplifting another member, I picked a fun layout that turns out use a Wendy Tunison template, so however that should be credited.... A Little Off the Top {Bella Gypsy Designs}

On top of those, I ALSO participated in TWO speed scraps (did I mention I'm not on Facebook till Monday?!?!?!)

 I used Grand Connection {Marie H Designs} for both of them

Ok, that's all (so far) for the challenges at Stuff to Scrap. So far, I have only entered two challenges at Snaps N Pieces. The first one was an ad challenge. I LOVE how it turned out!! I use A Squeeze of Lime {Created by Jill}. I loved the colors and stuff, but found it a bit odd that the papers were 2" or less. I don't know if it's because it was a sampler or just an oops....

I also FINALLY made a siggy for the siggy challenge. I used My 4 Princess Designs and Digital Designs by Meg - both of their contributions to the All Things Bright And Beautiful Blog train.

I must be crazy!!

I'm taking part in two competitions right now!! Well, one of them is a non-elimination competition, so that's a little less stressful!

First, I'm participating in Stuff To Scrap's This Scrappers Got Talent. Here's hoping that posting this isn't jinxing anything.......

The first challenge was a template challenge. The theme was A Day In The Life Of.

I used Scraps N Pieces Kit called All Inked Up:

For the second challenge, Crescent Moon Designs supplied us with a mini kit. We had to use all the pieces. That made me nervous, but it turned out all right.

The third challenge has been my favorite so far! It was a journaling challenge where we weren't allowed to use any pictures. It was a fun challenge!! I used 2 kits for this, Marie H Designs- Geek Style
and Fit To Be Scrapped- Final Frontier.

This is week 4. Our challenge this week is to re-do an old layout. We also needed to use 2 kits that didn't come from a collab.

I always had a hard time with it because Monochromatic pages just aren't my favorite. So I made this page:

I used two kits here: The Cat's Meow {Designs by Snowlady} and Summer Sunset {Gray Dragonfly}

but it still wasn't what I wanted, either. SO.... I made it AGAIN.....

 

But this.... I love!!!

 I used Controlled Chaos {Designs by Snowlady} and Punked {Seal Scraps}

Isn't odd how I remember what I was watching for different pages. For the last one, I was watching a documentary on Annie Oakley. It was very interesting.

I just hope the page is good enough to move on to round 5.

The second competition I'm in is at Scraps N Pieces. Like I said, it's non-elimination. This week's challenge was 7 circle photos and 3 circle frames in a cluster. I used the All Inked Up kit (from Scraps N Pieces) again.

This is a big month for me! Not just for digiscrapping, but for real life. For one thing, THIS happened TEN years ago:

 

I'm sad that all of my photos of us are on my EHD. I might post more this weekend.

Anyway, be prepared this weekend for a post about our INSANE Steampunk Anniversary party that is about to go down this coming Friday!!

Also, I live in Utah and we have a state holiday- the 24th of July (also known as the Days of 47). This day celebrates the day that the pioneers came into Utah to settle.

Don't you fret, though. I still plan on posting lots of pages. Especially because there is some cool stuff going on.
